I was legitimately shocked at how much I’m liking Jedi: Fallen Order. 

If someone had sold it to me as “the best of Anakin Skywalker’s personality plus cute droid buddy meets Tomb Raider gameplay in the Star Wars universe,” I’d have bought it when it came out. (Especially if they’d mentioned photo mode, which I would have played with a lot longer last night if I hadn’t had very patient people sitting there watching me play lmao.)

Instead all the reviews focused on “omg the Jedi Master gameplay is so super hard like Dark Souls it’s SO AWESOME/SO SHITTY” and “the campaign is so shooooooort” and honestly the company DID hamstring themselves by removing character customization (the aliens in this game are gorgeous, and it’s still ridiculous the main character couldn’t have been a woman - “because it’s canon” is not a good reason).

So anyway, I streamed it for like five and a half hours yesterday and I’m about to start again if you want to come say hi. :D  (Fair warning, I do not remotely have dedicated streaming space, so you get my whole chaotic house with my stream, as a treat.)

From the SWTOR Salt Mines

Okay, I’m going to be coming on in a few minutes (as soon as I get another cup of coffee and attempt to feel presentable).  I’ll probably run a few heroics or something, then probably pick up the trooper again around 1 unless there’s something else you guys want to see (the undercover Sith, the eventually jaded Jedi, I think i might have a bounty hunter, the saltiest trooper run ever).  :D

The Heir Apparent

Okay!  Getting ready to kick this off in about 5, 10 minutes after I refill my coffee and get my mic and everything set up.  :D  Come on by and hang out if you want; the first few minutes will probably be me staring ineffectually at the damn character selection screen, LOL.

fem!Revan is Best Revan

Okay!  Getting things going in about ten minutes - I just finished my last transcript for the day, and I’m gonna grab some coffee and snacks and then we’re gonna fire up KotOR.  :D  Come on by for some fem!Revan (of course), much salt about how I can’t romance Canderous, salt about the Jedi Order (depending on how far we get), and likely me getting lost here and there because I haven’t played in awhile.  :D

Also no swoop bike racing other than what the game makes me do because fuck that noise, I’m so bad at it, LOL.

From the Salt Mines

Today’s the day!  I’m probably going to hop on and tinker with settings and such, then run a couple of heroics or ... idk a class mission for Tish or something, but I’m going to start making Sergeant Salt around 1 (so in about 20 minutes from now, it’s 12:40 right now) if you want to come watch me snark the hell out of the trooper storyline and basically complain about Bioware’s terrible military worldbuilding and how much I can’t stand Ord Mantell.  xD   Oh, there’s going to be plenty of me getting lost because I haven’t played pubside in forever, LOL.

so hey folks that like to come hang out on my twitch stream (you’re awesome, btw, it’s the highlight of my weekend getting to chill with you guys), would you be interested in a KotOR/KotOR 2 playthrough series on Sundays?  I tend to stream for quite awhile, and could definitely start earlier if we wanted to split our time between SWTOR and KotOR.

Ah, the age old dilemma: Open Palm or Closed Fist?

Okay!  So I’m going to stream before I start this hellaciously long file (we really need money, so that means I don’t really need sleep).

I’m not NECESSARILY feeling something with a long storyline or that I have to think about at all, but that really leaves my options as Diablo 3 or Borderlands 2, LOL, and I’m not sure how fun either of those are to watch?  So if we’re feeling Star Wars, I can probably do the KotOR run or SWTOR, either way.
