Guitar Neck

Thanks for the input on the guitar neck, guys. I have another piece of white oak that is too thin to use as a neck, that I could rip and use as a finger board. I could probably make it look almost like a 1-piece neck with that, I am pretty sure they were milled from the same tree. Alternatively, I have a pre-slotted piece of some weird dark exotic wood from Mexico I could use, and a bunch of mahogany sitting around that I could use. The mahogany would make it look psuedo-rosewood, and not cost me anything extra. I'll post some pictures of those options later this evening or tomorrow.
