The more time that goes by between chapter uploads, the more the pressure of coming back with a "good" chapter weighs on me. I know that's not really something that an author should worry about, but... I dunno, man, it does!

I think my biggest issue is that the writing bug has made me focus on some less whumpy chapters recently, and I know that most of you guys are here for the pain, not the mundane. 😂 I promise that I'll get back to torturing the boys properly soon. Trust me, when they get back from their fictional vacation via me getting through these softer chapters... They are not gonna be having a good time at all.

This is just a ramble. I guess at the end of the day I hope that people have patience and stick around, even if my first few chapters back are probably gonna be pre-capture stuff.

#deedoo ramble #deedoo original #text post #deedoo thoughts #It's entirely possible that my brain could surprise me and jump back into writing one of the whumpier chapters suddenly #I'm waiting to see which chapter wins the completion race myself frankly #One backstory chapter got so big that I decided to split it into two chapters recently though #So the good news is that you'll probably get both of those chapters in quick succession once they're done #What I try to remind myself of is that every chapter IS a part of the larger story even if it's not the most exciting as a stand-alone thin #It's all gotta work together! It's just a teeny part of the bigger picture!

The tumblr app keeps being like:

And bro, NO. I don't trust you to not mess up my dash with giant icons and all of that poor formatting nonsense!! Is that even still a thing? By some miracle, I think that update missed me, but I'm really too scared to find out at this point.

In other news, I FINALLY got bitten by the writing bug again today and banged out the first draft of almost a full chapter!! FINALLY! It's been ages since I've been so productive in one go. I'm sure I'll be tinkering with it a lot before it's in any state to be posted, but HEY, I FINALLY DID SOMETHING AGAIN!
