Is there any reward for goodness except goodness?

-Surah ar rahman (55:60)

to those who hide their sadness in Sabr, who stand in prayer with a heavy heart hoping for relief and those who are tired of this Dunya,

remember Allah has promised us:

إِنَّ مَعَ الْعُسْرِ يُسْرًا

inna ma'al usri yusra

"surely with hardship comes ease.

بَلْ تُؤْثِرُونَ ٱلْحَيَوٰةَ ٱلدُّنْيَا ⚜️ وَٱلْآخِرَةُ خَيْرٌ وَأَبْقَىٰٓ But you prefer the worldly life, While the Hereafter is better and more enduring. Surah 87: Al-Ala: v.16-17 We tend to give the worldly life precedence over the matter of the Hereafter, and prefer it because of what it contains of usefulness and benefit for us in livelihood, and returns (i.e., income, profitable gain). The reward of the final abode is better than the worldly life, and it is more lasting. For indeed, this worldly life is lowly and temporal, whereas the Hereafter is noble and eternal. Thus, how can an intelligent person prefer that which is short-lived over that which is eternal. I always wondered why the prophet PBUH chose death instead of the world, now I understand that the world is a test and for the good servants of Allah world is a prison, and who will choose prison instead of freedom.
