Something that freaked me out
In the new JSE video. The good 5 seconds of black at the end. I thought I was going to get jump scared, but no it’s much worse. There was just a Deep Silence.
I’m sorry for my puns.
Anyways, the reason why there was red instead of green could most likely because the red is a much harsher color than green and symbolized death, while green symbolizes life.
Also the screams in the background scared me a bit.
Waiting for you
Nisargadatta Maharaj says: "That which cannot change, remains. The great peace, the deep silence, the hidden beauty of reality remain. While it cannot be conveyed through words, it is waiting for you to experience for yourself."
No explanation will do.
That was the message I shared with you via the words of Ram Dass, just a few days ago.
Words and explanations are poor substitutes for the experiences they describe, and nowhere is this truer than with spiritual experiences.
Epiphanies, revelations, radical shifts in perspective, mystical insights--these things are by their very nature difficult to describe.
Unlike mundane experiences in the physical realm, these types of experiences lack the concrete and material properties that make description and definition possible.
When trying to convey spiritual experiences, we are forced to rely on metaphor, simile, and symbolism. Lacking adequate words and expressions, we compare internal events to external ones, use images, and trace parallels.
And here, even the most creative and lucid teachers admit that the experiences transcend all description, that words do the experience no justice.
So there you have it, friends.
All these words, spoken and written by yours truly, are a poor substitute for the reality itself.
And it is my belief that the experience, the reality, the hidden, is available to all who seek with a clear mind and open heart.
There are a thousand paths leading into the inner-cosmos of the psyche, each one well-trodden by the countless travelers who came before us.
No need to wait any longer: grab your compass and a few maps, then plunge into the jungle.
Go have the experience. It is waiting for you.
