Deep Surface

#intro2elit  Deep Surface is a story written by Stuart Moulthrop. It talks about a strange romance between a reading machine and a free-diving simulator. When beginning to read, it tells you that the lifeline is on, this is because to be able to read this story you are supposed to submerge underwater and the text will appear. You need to pay close attention to your breathing while you dive underwater because if you run out of air you will "die" and your run is over. It is interesting because your timing and the decisions you make affect your score, which may mean that the deeper you dive into something, the more information you will receive. What makes this text fun is the fact that as  you are able to dive deeper into the water, you uncover more words and gain points but always remembering to be checking your lifeline.
