✍ : Offer 3-5 tips on how to get other role players started on interacting with your muse.
// Ya!! There are two different ways Ican answer this and I'm not sure which it is – what people need toknow about interacting with Erika specifically, or how to get peoplestarted interacting with you, if you're a new blog?
WELL if you're a new blog –
The biggest tip I have is just approachpeople. I know everyone's terrified but honestly if you neverapproach people, you shouldn't be surprised if you don't have (m)anythreads. What not a lot of peopleseem to realize is that, while you'reafraid to approach people, that person is afraid to approach you. Youthink, 'If they really wanted to RP with me, they wouldapproach me!' But they'rethinking the same thing about you. Someone needs to be the person tosay something first, and if you reallywant to have active roleplays, that person should be you!
I do alot of things to get myself out there. You don't have to send then aresume or anything, most of the time I'll send someone a message tothank them for following, or just to tell them I think their muselooks cool! Sometimes, depending on the person, I'll even scream atthem. “HELLO YES HI I LIKE YOUR BLOG VERY MUCH CAN WE RP--”
Mostpeople like it! Most don't mind. The worst thing that can ever happenis you just never talk again, and never RP. That'll happen toeveryone at some point, it's ok!
JUSTASK. SCREAM AT ME I DON'T MIND. Or tag me in a starter. Or respond toone of my opens? That's why they're there! Even if the Open hasalready been responded to, or if it's years old. I leave them prettyvague so they can apply to almost any situation, or go in anydirection.
Erikais very versatile. She fits into a lot of genres and I'm always openfor AU's or stretching the truth a little. I like to try to keep hercanon but... keep my mind open to alternate interpretations, ifthere's a certain scene I want to try to pull off.
