I have nothing to do at work but think about Zanka and im going a little insane about it.

What do you mean Kyouka and Goka think hes a disappointment for becoming a Giver as if that's the easy way out? What the fuck do you think it means to have emotions so powerful they become an energy source??? What, because he has to work for his skill, hes less worthy of it? But then he becomes a giver and ohhh thats taking a shortcut? WHAT.

And we all know Zanka is far from mediocre, but the expectations he has of himself are basically a mirror of the expectations placed on him and he doesnt have a chance to breathe!!! He is ENOUGH, hes impressive, hes strong, and he could unlock so much more if he wasnt internalizing that label placed on him like hes not doing enough ever and has just decided he will never be able to do enough so he becomes stagnant except also he cant live with himself if he doesnt try just that no one else can know if he does in case he fails but his own expectation of failure and mediocrity is keeping him there

He is literally the snake eating its own tail and the killer part is he doesnt want to be, but idk what could possibly break him free and give him a chance to go all out without fear because i just KNOW that will unlock something in Lovely Assistaff and hes gonna level the fuck up and i fucking BET it still wont be enough for his fucking family but god maybe by then itll be enough for himself.
