Stephen: I appreciate how you apply scientific rigor to our relationship.

I know. You'll make it through this. Actually, I think prioritizing and learning to let some things go is a good skill to have, and its good to learn it in high school rather than college. Not that it doesn't suck at the time.
Ah, yeah. It is a good skill to have, it’s just very frustrating to have to do it. I’m really not sure how I’m going to deal with my time the week after next-- I’m stage managing a show that’s opening that week, and just... ugh, it’s gonna be rough.

Yeah. They just don't get it and never really will. You've just got to keep doing your best and do what's personally right for you, even if that means blatantly blowing off assignments. You know you limits, and you don't owe them an apology.
Yeah... it is tough though, to just end up saying “I can’t do this.” and not doing an assignment. Every bone in my body screams “No! You have to do it!” but just... sometimes it’s not gonna happen.

Yeah, that sounds awful. Try not to be too hard on yourself. If one thing slips so that other things get done (or you maintain your metal health) that's not the end of the world. A lot of it honestly makes no difference once you're at college.
Ugh, I know. It’s just hard to go from having everything under control and never missing assignments, to realizing that sometimes there’s just nothing you can do, and you need to just sit down and do something, anything else-- or go to bed. There’s definitely a lot of prioritizing going on in my life right now, and it’s frustrating to see that my teachers don’t always get when we’re all so stressed that we can’t get our work done, that they need to just give us a day or two with no homework. Our teachers are like “Don’t be so stressed! It’s not as bad as you think it is!” Like. Yeah, probably not, but seeing as we’re all freaking out and super stressed and having panic attacks and crying in class, maybe you should just... give us a day? Chill out for about 30 seconds? Maybe?
