My idea of really good media representation is. Mmmm. I don't really know I never really see lesbian rep that I vibe with except in lesbian media, mostly books. And that's because they're written by lesbians and wlw and such.
I think representation is more about stories told by people like you than characters who are like you in a story told by like. Cishets you know.
Basically every lesbian character I have ever thought was good lesbian rep was written by a lesbian. Every other case it ranges from: oh this is is awkward to: Oh this is well meaning but also physically painful.

Awful depictions of lesbians. I can't think of any off the top of my head.#I think most uses of lesbians esp in films. Is just straight exploitative
