This branch, and the tree to which it belongs, are on the route I regularly walk with Tess. I've been looking at it for a couple weeks now mulling on some overly philosophical thoughts. Wouldn't it be cool if humans displayed their new growth as plainly as trees? If you survived a rough year and then had some visual evidence of it? Of course, that would also put a lot of pressure on you if you made it from one year to the next with almost nothing new to show for it. But even then, maybe that would help us try harder to develop ourselves. Anyway, if you have some visual representation of your growth from last year, whether physical, emotional, mental, or spiritual I would love to see it. I'm even going to create a hashtag! #newgrowth2018 37/365 #365photochallenge #philosophyiseverywhere #deepthoughtswithEmily #dogwalkingthoughts
