The shading on the newest Motherly Scootaloo is really good! Well done!

Thank you, a lot of people seemed to have agreed and I would also agree that the shading helps my art look a lot better hehe

If all goes well it should hopefully be here to stay. I’ve been avoiding shading for far too long because I genuinely hated it for forever, it was always such an awful thing to do on my end that I would dread any picture I would have to do it for.

Now though, I came up with a pretty simple and straight forward shading style that’s not super taxing on me and shouldn’t increase the work load of must updates by a whole lot. Sure it’ll make super detailed panels like panel 4 from yesterdays update longer, but that’s usually the exception, not the norm.

I also want to just slowly work on improving my art as well, so hopefully you should see other improvements happening while Motherly nears it’s end.
