Erin hailed from Buffalo, and spent her days working hard to defend the pit. No one really had any idea of what inhabited this it, but defend it she did, for that was her duty. She had done this everyday without fail for the past two years, and somehow had never tired of it. Pit Defender Erin was her title, and she smiled upon hearing it. No one would go near this pit without good enough reason, and those who did so were smitten down by her magical abilities, granted to her by her elder "Pit Defender Charles." Charles had defended the pit for over sixty years, only ceasing to do so due to him being forced into retirement by the government. Luckily, he had sorted out his pension early in life and had as a result been able to access the stupidly high amount of funds waiting for him. 

Erin's powers gave her the ability to teleport, and also the ability to twat those nearing the pit without having to move. This made her day entertaining, as she could teleport around the area, stealing small items from dog walkers and the like before nipping back to the pit in order to give a quick "nah m8" to the attempted intruder.
