I want to thank my tumblr friends that changed my life

dysfunctionull, you're my best friend, I would not be who I am today without you. You are the reason I know how to love myself, you taught me to accept my body and see what I thought were flaws as simple chisel marks in the masterpiece that is me. When we met I was consumed by my past, tortured in my present, and believed I had no future. I was a fucking wreck, I was trapped in my body, I wanted to die, but I didn't want to kill my self, I was scared and alone and I had no idea what to do. You showed up, you were exactly what I needed, I remember the first time we skyped, it was 9:00 on a Tuesday night, supernatural was about to come on and I wanted someone to watch it with, during commercial breaks we smoked together, I showed you my scars, you showed me yours and we talked about life. I'll never forget how accepted I felt that day, if only I knew what we would become, I doubt I would have ever harmed myself again. Today, my past is just that, behind me, I will never let it destroy my present, a place of beauty and hope, hope for my future, one that I believe is bright and wonderful, because it is a future with my friend, my friend with a heart of gold and eyes that glow like miniature galaxies, windows to a chaotic but brilliant soul that touched mine and brought me to a place of peace. Thank you for everything. No matter what happens I will never forget you. defendthyfandom, Katie, probably one of the hardest working, most determined, and brightest people I know. I remember seeing that popular post and thinking how bright that smile was, in you I saw kindness and beauty, something so rare that I had to say something about it. I remember opening your page and reading your bio when your headset caught my eye, just weeks before I had done an advertisement review on that exact product, now I wonder if that could have really just been a coincidence, because what came next was a unique friendship with a unique person, one that I treasure now and always. Ten or twenty years from now when you are a PhD candidate for whichever field you choose, I hope you will remember me and maybe throw a few bucks my way. I'm kidding of course, I plan for our friendship to last a lifetime, I'll be lucky if I ever meet anyone like you again in my life, thank you for being my friend, I love you bud.
