Firearms are a tool that can be used for good intentions or bad intentions. The vast majority of bad guys will not be convinced to become good guys. So the good guys (law abiding citizens) need to be allowed to be armed to defend against the bad guys.

#Repost @godgalsgunsgrub with @get_repost ・・・ I've been working with the @lynxdefense Ankle Medical Kit the last couple of weeks... outfitted with @northamericanrescue C.A.T., 4" Flat Emergency Trauma Dressing, Quik-Clot z-fold Combat Gauze, HyFin Chest Seal, Bear Claw Gloves... plus some duct tape and a mini-Sharpie marker... works well so far... stays in place... slightly bulky... but seems to be convenient for carrying trauma first aid items on the shooting range... while instructing firearms courses and 4H Shooting Sports... Beware Bad Advice: If you are attacked, attack back. Fight for your life. Don't try to vomit or fake a seizure. Especially don't fake a faint! That makes you extremely vulnerable!

Targeted Defense Technique: Heel Hand to the Nose.

Use the heel of your hand to strike up under your attacker's nose. Remember, one strike probably won't stop the attacker. Keep striking (kicking, biting, poking, gouging, breaking, etc.) until the attacker can no longer hurt you.
