      “Oh yeah, a great one …” Sarcastic tone fell as she reached for another coffee cup, shirt lifting as she did. Tugging the article down with one hand, she stuffed some newspaper in the cup with her other. Yet, she finds herself deflating a moment later, settling the cup into the box. Loved each other, she more than just loved him, she loves him,  but she can’t say it. Instead she steps forward, arms wrapping around his neck in a hug, sighing falling as she rests her chin in the crook of his neck. “We loved each other, we did.”

{ Jay, you’re honestly such an angel and I’m endlessly thankful that I managed to stumble across your blogs. You’re a sweet, funny, and creative person who has better skills with creating graphics than basically anyone I know. I adore both Curt and Kelly who are just so incredibly real and fleshed out and intricate in their existence. In fact, when I first started following Curt, I was so convinced that he was actually a canon character from West Wing or something, if that says anything about how incredibly detailed and real you made him feel to me. 

I just love your writing and your characters and that you put up with me pestering you. You’re just a truly delightful person in every single way, and Piper and I love both Kelly and Curt. So, thank you for making your boys and letting Piper and I be a part of their stories <3 }

             “ HEY -- are you a real doctor or what? ”  He was probably being too harsh on the guy, but he had job to do. The sooner he got seen, the sooner he could be back out on the street. Most inconvenient time to get grazed by a bullet? Smack in the middle of one of the BIGGEST cases all year. Sam flashed the man a tight smile.  “ I mean, if it’s not too much trouble, doc, ”  he added dryly.
