Okay so I’m prefacing this with the fact that I would absolutely die for the y/j animated series and watch it a million times over and never ever get bored of it-but...

The youn/g jus/tice animated show is.....bad. Please don’t get me wrong, I absolutely adore the show, the writing in season 1, and the really good complex storylines. But it doesn’t feel like You/ng Justi/ce to me. It feels more like a “we’re sorry teen titans was canceled, but heres a bright shiny new teen titans that we’re selling under the name young justice” show. 

It was an absolute shame not having the original cast, making it not feel like it’s Tim’s team, making Kon into Conner was a mistake, not even having half the original comics cast showing up until season 2, and placing Cissie in season 3 just doesn’t at all feel right to me. Sure it nods at a ton of the original storylines, but it takes away the important friendships formed from the comics. 

like i love yo/ung jus/tice, both the comics and the animated series but i just think that it could have gone far with the same storylines, but with the original cast instead.

She paused then, watching him carefully to see his reaction to the weight of what she said. Part of her wished there was even more privacy than the tiny nook that they were in whilst she admitted her darkest secrets. ❝Why are you so interested in serial killers anyways? ❞

Jason nearly gets slapped in the face with the energy when someone walks in the door, and he has to turn around and see just who it is. He’s surprised to see a young girl, her hair pulled up, and she looks happy enough, sure, but to Jason she’s almost got a haze around her, something bogging her down. Yikes, okay then. Is this...?

She’s looking around a bit confused, and Jason raises a hand to catch her attention. Recognition dawns on her face, and she hurries towards him. Yeah, this is the girl that contacted. Jason has a small webseries and a public email, and she’d nearly begged for help. Jason’s a sucker for helping people, so even though he’s pretty sure this is gonna be another pro bono job, he doesn’t regret meeting up with her. “Hey, I’m Jason,” he says, standing up to shake her hand. “You must be Cissie, right?”
