My very first purchase at Lululemon!
These sport bras are $29! Steal! And a define jacket $118. I had a gift card so it cost me less than that :)
Then the bottom pouch is from Victoria's secret. I also had a gift card, so it cost me nothing :)
fuck me sideways. lululemon discontinued the jacket that I wanted and I can only find it on ebay for double the price it normally sells for. this is bullshit
Look and feel good while you workout... lululemon review
Hey guys,
I've been wearing lululemon athletica for almost 9 years now. I'm not exclusive to this brand but I love how the clothing performs in the gym as well as keeping me looking chic as I run errands, meet friends for lunch, pick up kids, etc. I do throw in some Nike, Adidas, and other brands in there to mix it up but my mainstay is lululemon. It's a little pricey but I'm willing to fork over a little more for quality. My first pair of lulu pants still look spanking new. The elastic in the sport bras have held up, too. Unfortunately, some of my Nike sport bras' elastic bands have lost its elasticity after 3 years.
I love the Wunder Under Crops from lululemon. Since I'm on the short side, I wear the crop version all the time. I think they look the best on my frame. These crops kind of suck you in and make everything smooth. The waistband is high enough so you don't get that awful muffin top. And if you are doing anything high impact, you won't jiggle as much. As with all lululemon products, they wick away sweat very well. You don't want sweat highlighting certain areas down there, trust me. If you are lucky enough to have a store nearby, it pays to visit often as they have limited edition prints and styles from time to time.
These are my go-to tops from lululemon. There are so many styles to choose from and every season, they add new ones. But these have been tried and tested... on me.
U-Tank: This (hot pink) tank is one of their classic styles meaning they probably won't discontinue it. I love this tank because it shows off the shoulders and arms nicely and the halter is very comfortable. The length is pretty perfect. It's neither too tight nor baggy so it won't creep up on you when you are working out.
No Limits Tank: So you know once a month, you feel a little bloated and you don't want to wear anything too tight around the middle? Well, this tank is your answer! It's a sport bra attached to a loose fitting tank and I have to say this is probably my favorite top right now. It is super flattering and hides a multitude of sins. You may have to size up as I've heard the straps can dig into the shoulders a little. Mine does dig in a bit but only when I wear it all day long.
Cool Racerback Tank: I love this tank because it lets me wear whichever sport bra I want. I love mixing up colors. With this royal blue, I'd pair it simply with a white tank or go vibrant and add green or purple. The length on this is pretty long. Lululemon does have a service where they will take up pants or tanks for free.
When you are done working out, just slip into one of these jackets and voila! A pulled-together-chic-gym-girl-on-the-go! Because these jackets are pretty thin, they layer beautifully with puffy vests or under any other jackets or coats. Currently, I layer this under their new bundle up jacket *reflect (I bought it in black with black lace) when the temperature drops.
Lululemon suggests washing products in cold water/ warm dry or cold water/ air dry. I wash all of my lulus together in cold and throw them in the dryer on normal. It's been 9 years and so far, the lycra has remained intact and I haven't had any snags or loss of elasticity.
It seems I'm a paid product endorser of lululemon but I am not. When I encounter a great product, I support it. As I live in gym clothes almost everyday, it's important to me that what I wear looks good, performs well and has longevity in my closet.
Until next time... cheers!
