*Clay dropped the Gnocchi into the boiling broth glancing at the clock checking the time. Jack should be here any minute and Dinner was nearly done, he was excited to see his boyfriend, they hadn’t seen each other since the Theater tour and he was ready to hear if he had made any progress with the bank, but truthfully he just wanted to see Jack.He had gotten him a small gift and had a burning question he was dying to ask him, his nerves a flutter at what his answer would be*  @definitelyjackbenjamin

*Clay gave himself another once over as he climbed out of his car, his light denim bell bottoms were retro enough to fit in with tonight's theme without being too much, they meshed well with his button up shirt and lucky denim jacket. He felt the nerves bubbling up inside him as he grabbed his gift for Jack off the passenger seat. Making his way to the door he tucked the gift behind his back, his hand shaking as he rang the door bell. He couldn’t remember the last time he was this nervous. No going back now.*
