i'm sure there's so much more evidence for the crying child's name being dave rather than Evan, but evan feels so much softer and nicer and fits much more in my mind. Whether that's because it's the name I got attached to or otherwise, i dunno. nothing against people who believe cc's name is Dave or anything, (if anything I'd ask those people to have nothing against me), and people can call characters whatever they want, especially in FNAF with how weird it is, it's just important to me personally. Thing I noticed...

There's no cops in Welcome Home.

I know Welcome Home isn't "political". But I think it's worth mentioning because all the characters are canonically POC, queer, and neurodivergent. The absence of police and the state violence they enforce, combined with the presence of several intersecting marginalized communities, implies that without cops, society becomes more of a safe haven for POC, LGBTQ+, and neurodivergent people.

I know I'm overthinking it. But it is fun, and it is what I do. I am a shameless socialist, after all. A socialist that love Welcome Home.

I know it's essentially just a cartoon and i'm definitely overthinking this but everytime I watch pomeon xy I find it crazy that serena, bonnie, clement are basically French cause the kalos region is based on France. And then there's Ash basically just being a tourist and rocking up and accidentally finding a family (and his future wifey) in a foreign country/region 🥺
