🚫SPOILERS(just a bit)🚫i gave this book ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️/5 stars! Im actually surprised how much i loved this..because i dont really read romance books idk most of the covers look so trashy no offense but this didnt look trashy and it sounded like a good book to read and was suggested by one of my fave authors so i decided to give it a chance since i already had the book from bookcon. I was immediately sucked in i really love books that take place in the 1800s its just interesting to me. Anyway Sophie was so badass and was like i give no fucks what society thinks of me i was like yasss girl. King made me laugh though he was so snarky and charming in his own way i guess. I mean there were moments where i was like listen you need to think about what your saying before you say it . Cause he lost the inability to talk correctly when around Sophie lol. I loved when he got jealous from the handsome doctor he was like whyy does everyone keep saying how handsome that doctor is!? Ughh im like hehe your jealouss and then other times i wanted to shake him like let your heart be open to Sophie she loves you!! Okay so towards the end i was a mess lol seriously but i stopped after a while until King’s father started talking about how he loved the housekeeper and repeated the same reasons why she loved him that Sophie had said and i just lost it. When King finally found her i thought it was funny and sweet at the same time that she was found in the cart again like the beginning. The way he was telling her how much he loved her just had me crying again and so filled with love. Point is that this book was really good. I definitely recommend it if you like 1800s romance and a bad ass woman who stands up for herself. #myreview #justfinished #bookstagram #definitelyrecommended
