Don't bother with filters for defluoridation - they're too expensive, require frequent replacement, and often don't work in the first place. A still, constructed like the one above, will always remove everything, every time. Electric or solar versions are manufactured as well, but are very pricey, but pretty good and work well with a little planning.
The filter thing is yet another scam. Forget it.
The distilling alternatives, for the same efficacy, are usually cheaper, and will always give you the purest water possible; not just remove a couple of contaminants, like the filters do.
