A story rethink
Hey guys so I know a couple months ago I had an idea to do a story about De and my OC, but it wasn’t going so well so I decided to rethink the story idea completely and do a OC story for Deforest’s Doctor McCoy since there truly isn’t a lot of his McCoy around here (from what I was told) and because I really want to do a special tribute for him. Here’s the summary Saved by the dream (Dr. Leonard McCoy X Myrtle Foster)
They used to say that space was the final frontier. That was until they met a girl with a very special gift. Myrtle Foster.
Myrtle was a very happy girl when she was a child. She grew up with her mother, father, and grandparents on her grandparents’ ranch. Myrtle’s father was a psychologist who was rich without not only money, but a big heart for his daughter. Her mother was always the indifferent one and that was something that Myrtle never understood. Myrtle decides to follow in her family’s footsteps and trains to be a RN, but one tragic day that all comes crashing down when her father dies in a tragic “accident”. Once her father dies and her grandparents die Myrtle is stuck taking care of her mother and as time goes by she begins to see the true cruel nature of her mother.
To keep her daughter from learning the truth about herself and about the brutal murder of her father Myrtle’s mother will force Myrtle into slavery making her the servant of the house. Myrtle is close to losing hope until one fateful night while cleaning the basement of the old farm house Myrtle discovers her father’s most interesting and strange discovery. There are few people in the universe who carry a special ability to cross the dimensional plain in their sleep.
That night something strange happens and Myrtle will walk into the dimension of the one show that always brought her and her father joy together when she was a child. Star Trek.
Each night when she falls asleep she becomes closer with the Enterprise Crew and soon she begins to go on amazing and crazy adventures with them. Along the way she will fall in love with her dream guy and favorite character Doctor Leonard McCoy.
So that she can remember her dreams and later recall them to others she keeps a dream diary. Myrtle sneaks out each morning at dawn to see her friend an old mystic named Ariel who later tells her the truth about her father’s findings and the truth about her mother who was once a mystic just like her and became evil and vengeful because of a broken heart. Later that morning Myrtle’s mother catches her and then calls an insane asylum prompting Myrtle to run for her life and then beg for the help of Ariel to escape. Now Myrtle must make an important decision, either she continues to live a life of torture and pain or will she risk it all to join the people who love her, The Enterprise Crew?
