That makes a difference in my heart

I always have an awful habit of putting people on this high pedestal, and I always get hurt because I except more from them and they never asked to be held so high.

This isn’t a poem by @sirmumsila but the sentiment brings him to mind as his spirit transitions to #ancestor status today. As anytime he spoke, acted, or simply showed up to a space; his love was evident and felt. We are honored to have had his influence in our life in all the ways. It never gets old. 🙏🏿 Loving each other and especially when sickness, illness and injury are so pronounced in the life of your loved one/s and even ourselves is essential. Check on and love on your sick love/d ones. Bless the ailing, lonely, on the mend, shut-in, uncertain, unheard, scared, scarred, traumatized, terrified, relapsed, unbelieved, denied, depressed, anxious, damaged, honest, grief-stricken, barely surviving, disturbed, fatigued, world-weary, waiting for answers, yearning for relief, left behind, marked, nervous, confused, ignored, overwhelmed, overextended, healing, lost, disoriented, undiagnosed, self-advocates, beaten down, down trodden, Spiritually war-torn, emotionally ravaged, nerve-wracked, not taken seriously, misdiagnosed, pre-op, post-op and all those that are facing and living with (and without) things.
