Sophie Morgan! Kadi's first OC account, iirc. A historical/Outsiders OC that was... Ehh, not exactly popular, but prolific. I had a lot of fun with her, especially as she was more slice of life normal girl than a lot of my muses have been since. I think I still have some followers from this era even, but uh. Fandom was a cesspool. It was the 2010s and people were just openly hostile to LGBTIAQ+ themes, me and some other roleplayers calling out transphobia and racism was shouted down as bullying while being told to keep ourselves safe, fandom was full of dumb kids who UM EXCUSE ME YOUR OC CAN'T KISS DALLY I KISS DALLY, stupid shit like that.

She shipped with another roleplayer's take on fan favorite Dallas W. and Katie bar the door, I got waves of how this white guy in the 60s wouldn't be into a brown girl. Did I, as a person of dubious ethnic background in the Southern United States, know about a little thing called SEGRAGATION? Checkmate, this fictional teenage criminal only kisses white girls like OP now. I eventually got sick of the girliepop bullshit and just abandoned her blog. I had moved on to my next fandom by that time and was having a way better time without having to fight uphill against non-RP fandom.

I somewhat revived Sophie as an NPC in another period drama teenybop piece, but this time in the 80s as an accidental friend to my ST OC Rio. She's another muse I really loved but her lifespan on tumblr has left the worst taste in my mouth. I am also grinning like a maniac when I remember racist's fav Dallas is a black man in the stage adaption.

Sirius Black! I briefly played him on tumblr sometime post-high school graduation, but have long since forgotten anything but it had Canis in the url and I became a certified Snape hater through the way his fans/muns freaked out if I had him act IC. Shocker: dude who came from fucked up backstory circumstances has no sympathy for dude from also fucked up backstory circumstances turning the in-setting equivalent of fash trash. He was a muse I greatly enjoyed, but unfortunately the fandom was not (is not?) open to deviance from popular fanon. My Sirius was not an average looking white boy women can pretend is Adonis incarnate, and I didn't ship him with the basic white boy he was 'destined' for when his chemistry with James was right there, so he didn't get a lot of traction.

Fandom bad, creator worse, but God damn do I miss the years off-tumblr I poured into him. Every so often I start sanding him down to an OC with only a few backstory beats and characterization in common to Sirius, but I can never quite pull the trigger due to my sheer revulsion with a certain cunt who has had it too good for too long running her mouth. Someone get that bitch a muzzle.

Speaking of fucked up creators,

Silas from the Graveyard Book was my literal first muse. His blog existed for an afternoon. I did not understand how RP worked, got scared, and deleted him my junior year. Never picked him up again. Looking back, I have no regrets.
