I like this guy, but I feel like if I tell it will be one of those situations that are like ' damn, why do all of my friends that are girls start liking me.' I like the friendship but I also like him. What do I do?

It'll be best if you just stay friends with him. Telling him you like him won't change the situation between you two. It'll only make thinks awkward at this point.
