Tagged by the lovely @ettelene to share six photos from my phone. View from the top of the cliff railway in Aberystwyth in June. Glorious clear, hot day. Lovely garden of a holiday cottage we stayed in the Bannau Brycheiniog (Brecon Beacons).
The motte beside the place we stayed in a few years ago. The manor was built within what had been the bailey of the Norman castle and was very old itself. That place definitely had some “things” going on (twice I thought my partner was right next to me and turned to say something and no-one was there, footsteps that followed, dark shapes seen by me and my partner’s father who does not believe in anything at all…certain parts of the house were ‘unfriendly’. Interesting place though and beautiful country — just outside Brecon).
The huge (said by several experts to be 5000 years old) incredible Defynnog Yew in its old churchyard. It has such a presence.
Looking down into the gorge of Devil’s Bridge after climbing down then up the very steep and uneven steps to the Devil’s Punchbowl. Serene evening at the Parrog, Newport, Pembrokeshire. I remember that man was just standing while his little dog ecstatically dived in and climbed out of a rock pool.
