Somehow this turned out a Bit longer than I thought (almost 6k), but I guess that's on par for the course with me by now. God, we're so close to 500k... (Still not sure whether it'll be 74 or 75, but we'll see that soon enough, I'm sure.)

SSE sucks at making the soul riders seem like friends at the best of days but you know what my biggest peeve in that category is?

Alex's tack having duct tape on it

Because No fucking way would her two rich friends (Linda's the kid of two professors and she got Meteor as a sorry we're moving present source Helena's books she has money) let that slide, nevertheless anyone who cares about her like Elizabeth or Lisa???

Like I know it's because she's supposed to look poor and SSE at least sometimes remembers she's Undoubtedly and foundationally working class but I PROMISE SSE there are ways to make her working class without also making her seem stupid/outright reckless and her friends neglectful

Sometimes I remember that the winter spirits in-game are literally only mentioned a) in one of the area flavour texts about the southern iron gate I think and b) in the intro quest to goldenhills but it isn't even That relevant cause it has nothing to do with the gate being locked, as Mr Klaus was just suffering from "early-2010s-SSO-man-itis" and isn't. like. actually even slightly relevant to the lore at all

I love being an author instead of a parent because nobody will look at you weirdly for hating certain chapters more than others everyone will just go yeah that's how it be innit and move on with their lives because you have to be petty and spiteful to survive in this bitch of a world that is authorship and that's just how it is

My worst enemy love of my life Lumi @thereisabearonmyceiling sometimes comes into my dms to hand me stupid sketches of Deia, and I have gotten permission to post a bunch of the silly sketches so, here's a compilation of silly Deia sketches my girlfriendn't has made for me throughout the oh god it is years now isn't it

I love writing a lore heavy longfic you'll be thinking about a future chapter like "I INVENTED COOL LORE" only to stop yourself and go "Wait have I." go run to your fics, look at probably at least 3 different chapters just to make sure none of the new ideas contradict existing text, and then, and ONLY then, can you officially go "HAHA NEW LORE IDEA"
