I’ve been thinking a lot about synthetic cyborgs lately. Beings constructed for a specific purpose but still afflicted with the needs and desires of the flesh.

Especially hunger.

One of them is a particularly hard worker who never feeds their body like they should, trying (and failing) to ignore their own hungry stomach as it growls pitifully for sustenance.

One of their batch mates notices this and finds the right time to corner them, forcing them to eat.

The hard worker seems tense at first, embarrassed by their perceived weakness. but realizing the other isn’t going to let them be until they feed themself properly, they dutifully dig into their food, revealing that they’re actually quite the glutton.

Now with a full belly gurgling happily, they finally feel themself relaxed and satisfied, finally feeling alive.

Had myself a bowl beef soup, bowl of spaghetti, and a vanilla milkshake for dinner and desert…not a full stuffing session but my belly is feeling nice and happy with the offering ^^
