deimorous-detective asked:
(Ask intended for Shigaraki's main divergent verse :))
It hadn't been too long since the heir to the king of the underworld had escaped very same prison that his namesake's title came from. Heroes, police, — everyone, had been searching for him.
. . .Including a certain, former student of U.A. High.
On record, Shiro held half a school-year in General Studies along with another short term within the Hero course. She hadn't seen any limelight during her time at the school, nor did she pull any fame or notable acclaim.
But, under the mountains of paperwork is buried a notably apprehensive background and a quirk of fearsome potential; one forged decades prior by the original All for One himself. Luckily, her life swayed from manipulation and destruction as she was forgotten by the king of evil, left behind in her family's home, eventually making way for another to become the demon king's successor.
And now, after lengthy searching, Shiro comes face to face with someone so similar to herself. An almost ragged and flowing coat sways about in the air, tempestuous from mere tension gathering near the two. A soft, purple mist gathers and floats about her fingertips.
". . .You're Shigaraki, then?" Blue eyes take note of the signature white-gray colored hair. "You really are elusive. . ." She adds with a sigh, tucking her hands away in the coat's pockets. From the way she's standing, it doesn't seem she's here for a fight.
"Would you mind a question?"
It's been over a month since he escaped the prison that held him. However, that wasn't the only thing he obtained freedom of. He managed to take his body back too. But for how long? He didn't know.. All For One was constantly trying to take over. But he had a strong will, and managed to keep his body for the most part.
He laid low, in his own home that no one really knew about. Keeping away from any eyes. Whenever he was out, he wore a hood to conceal his face. He kept Eri with him in his house and traded her off with her care taker and teacher. For now, he'd lay low until he found his allies. He had no idea where they were, if they were dead, being held captive some where. Who knew? He received zero news on any of it, and none of it could be found.
Shigaraki decided to wander out a bit. To help clear his head of the cloud that formed inside. He tucks his hands into his pockets, keeping his cape close, and left his house. Heading towards the hills nearby.
As he got there, it seemed he was not alone.. He senses someone nearby, and grows tense. He didn't know if it was ally or foe.. Or just some passerby.
When he hears a voice, he turns his head to look at who it belonged to. He didn't know her at all, didn't recognize anything about her. "Yes.. That is me," he confirms. "Though, not fully... I don't really know who I am anymore," the god adds, turning his body to face her.
"You're probably the first person to know who I am since I escaped prison.. I usually conceal myself. But I wasn't expecting anyone to be here," he says, a hand gesturing to their surroundings.
