deimos grinned as he pushed past rhys. he tugged off his beanie and ruffled up his hair exposing his small horns. hiding them with his magics took a lot of effort and wearing a beanie sometimes was too hot so he was stuck between too annoyances but in the end he usually decided the latter was what he’d rather deal with. now that he was in the safety of rhys’ apartment he didn’t have to worry about that.
“i like you’re friends,” deimos declared turning on his feet once he heard the door click closed, “they’re fun.” they hadn’t done much but the way rhys had reacted to deimos’ comments was more than entertaining to the young demon. he liked watching rhys squirm if he put it in layman's terms. in fact, he liked that much more than the actual company of the other humans.
by a demon’s standard deimos hadn’t been alive for long - he hadn’t even lived out the full live span of a human yet. which meant to a demon he still had much to experience but deimos already decided that rhys was his favourite human. he didn’t know what it was about the taller boy but deimos was attached.
“d’ya think they liked me?” deimos asked turning away again as his tail untucked itself from under his shirt swishing through the air slowly before it found its way into his hands. he held onto the end of it squishing it gently. for some reason the action put him at ease. it was a habit he couldn’t drop.
taking slow steps he made his way over to rhys’ couch not hesitating as he sat down onto it. while he enjoyed being around the humans it took a lot out of him. deimos’ preferred to just laze around and do nothing (it was a trait most sloth demons hand, just as a lust demon loved to fuck or a pride demon loved to prove themselves better, sloth demons well, liked to be lazy).
he freed one of his hands from his tail to reach out into rhys’ direction. he didn’t say anything or do anything else to indicate it but he wanted rhys to come sit with him. deimos planned on not leaving this spot for a few hours now but he wanted rhys to be there with him.
