A concept: In this world death is not a scythe wielding undead creature come to take you to hell. 

Here one does not fear death for she is a welcome sight, though a somber one. She is an apparition of a loved one come bearing the light of the universe. Once your time has come you join the light that burns in her lantern. Ma’a Mortem nutures the flame endlessly, never letting any harm come to it.

Hello, everyone! Last one of the day to counter all the early cuteness ahahahaah A centaur long guardian thingie? ahahah well. I call them “Inbetween”. The Inbetween is a limit between life and death. Spirits, gods, monster and people with broken hearts and minds might live there. It is also governed by a deity of the same name, The Inbetween. I suppose this here is a shape it might take, or maybe just a subbordinate. I don’t know yet, exatly. I did think it would look cool in pixels, so I did it ahahahaha All the lore above is from one of the rp’s with @beholdthedoctoress :D

Reapers

Come from their own home Realm 

In their home realm they are very few in number and have many natural predators.

Like Earth cause they are very high on the food chain there

Have the ability to hide their true forms to other creatures except for on the night of the new moon

Illusion driven by sunlight and can be by on moonlight. Illusion is strongest in the day time and hardly sustainable in the night unless the Reaper absorbs and stores excess light during the day. 

sleep from the early hours of morning to around noon. Basically like a teenager.

Appear to newly deceased souls in comforting forms (ie an Angel or loved one) in order to trick them into believing the Reaper intends to lead them to heaven.  The Reaper then consumes the soul's energy leaving behind an unique type of spirit.

These spirits grow in a vicious rage of hunger that eventually turns them into a new reaper thus continuing the species lifecycle.  

Finding newly dead souls is not their only source of food. Reapers also feed off the pain of others so you are likely to find them hanging around in hospitals or other dreary places.

Stick together for the most part in small clans

Faunus

say hello to Skeleton Ghost friend

Sort of a minor character but also the best character

They are a type of spectre that comes from the natural decay of something.

Born from a deer skull

Spectre's are class of ghost that does not come from a human soul

Has no body other than skeleton hands and skull

Can become solid or intangible at will

Can't be invisible while tangible, but can when intangible

Dislikes living things unless they are friends

Likes collecting bones, feathers, shells, etc and enjoys "creepy things" Also fond of popping through walls and putting hands on people's shoulders  

Despite coming from nature Faunus is not to fond of it and prefers to live in abandoned buildings

Sorta becomes the house caretaker when the others are out on a mission

Only joins cases if they sound like fun

She can see ghosts an true form of all creatures. She can see the souls of people attached to them and hovering around their bodies. Some other creatures can see ghosts as well but she can see far more things and more clearly than anyone else.

Deals with supernatural disturbances for a fee

Part of an organization that trains people to deal with supernatural stuff but is sort of leagues beyond them yet follows their ideas in the beginning 

Prone to persistent headaches because her eyes put strain on her human body which is why she doesn't have time for you..she's likely in pain and has more important shit to do

Rather quite but bossy and direct when there is business to attend to.
