Karen stood there without a word as the girl walked away. Naturally she caught the slight glare, and was tempted to laugh at it. Did this girl actually think she meant something to Lance? She was in for a rude awakening if that was the case, and Karen dismissed it.
“While it does slightly bother me to constantly watch something as sacred as a wedding vow be broken, it’s something I’ve become used to with the two of you.”
The woman shrugged dismissively. Truthfully she was tempted to take a drink herself. Being around him especially made her want to loose her mind to alcohol because hopefully she would be able to forget the experience. However she had to be here at the moment. With something like this sober was the best choice anyway.
“Shockingly this isn’t about those years either, I told you I’m past that. I repeat not for your sake either, humanity didn’t deserve bearing the consequences.”
She sighed knowing that the world couldn’t of handled many more ages of the moon and sun at war.
“No I actually come for business, actual business. One of your temples is facing possible demolishing thanks to an overly aggressive architecture supply company. They’re pulling absolute nonsense truthfully, but it’s a jury case which means the more naive of people may fall for it. I came to see if you had any documents on the place. I would work it out so you were on the jury to help sway decisions, but we all know you lack in diplomatic people skills.”
Jimin, Minor Deity of Milk
Milk exists in abundance. Milk from animals. Milk from crops. Milk from nuts. Milk represents motherly love, unselfishness, selfless love and kindness. Which should all exist in abundance as well.
Milk from the animals we have kept has helped certain civilizations and the people within it grow strong and powerful. It currently makes some people weak at the knees, seeing evolution has made most of us vulnerable to it. We have recognized this change of ways and adapted, we overcame.
Dreams which feature it are often tied to your future health. Enjoying a pleasant glass during the nightly hours in the back of your mind is said to guarantee that your illnesses will be conquered and you will feel better about your health.
Boiling the liquid will kill every germ that resides within it and can be done as a symbolic act to wash away all the negative facets of your life.
The deity of milk is Park Jimin. Someone that helps us embody the believe that our health is important and that taking care of ourselves and our loved ones is something that we should do without hesitating. We should never look back and have to wish we had been more selfless.
On the day we celebrate him, October 13th, offer the ones around you (especially people named Tony) a nice glass of milk. Maybe go for soy.

Hoseok, Minor Deity of Porcelain
The duality of porcelain is truly poetic and even yours truly can taste the bitter irony on my lips. Like a melancholic kiss.
Porcelain is known for its strength and durability. It is deemed strong enough to use as a construction material. Some particular pieces made of porcelain have been around for centuries and will probably still be here when we’re all astray and many generations have gone by.
Porcelain is known to be fragile. To break when dropped, to burst when held too firmly and to chip when making contact too roughly. It is what we symbolically return to when trying to convey the weak nature of something.
Nowadays painted daintily with flowers or balls of fluff, they keep our disposition sunny, when before they conveyed a different story. Elaborate stories painted on the clay, telling tales of people’s past and how they were different then than they are now.
Jung Hoseok is our deity of porcelain. He is here to remind us that even though we believe and experience the world one way, the truth might as well be the opposite. Or maybe something in between. Things, events and people have stories behind them, roads they’ve taken that we cannot comprehend or simply aren’t meant to comprehend and to keep an open mind towards the past.
Go to your favorite café, order a sweet tart or cake and a cup of tea. When the plate and mug are placed in front of you, keep Hoseok in your mind and cheer to the future. (I can also recommend ordering 2 cups of tea and then pouring one out for you homie Hoseok, but the staff will not share his sunny disposition after that.)

Yoongi, Minor Deity of Mirrors
Throughout the years mirrors became surrounded by a lot of bad superstition among the population. They were said to steal souls, be portals for the sinister to enter our world and how silly they may sound to us now, some of these old tales stuck with us like a festering scar.
Bring a damaged state upon a mirror and be struck with 7 years of the worst fates. A very grim prospect. Completely undeserved, of course. But there is little you can do about a the Horn-effect. Something that seems dark to us or cause us fear are harder for outsiders to love.
Old mirrors were made with sheets of silver under panes of glass, reflecting the light and therefore replicating everything before our eyes. Silver is a pure, valuable metal that signifies strength, clarity and focus. The color with the same name is the perfect in-between of black and white, a pillar of balance.
Min Yoongi is our soulful deity of mirrors that radiates the strength to look back on yourself without losing track of what is ahead of you, your future, your dreams, your goals. Things that are valuable, but sometimes seem unreachable, as if kept behind glass.
To appease him, take a selfie and send it to a close one, as if to say “Look at me go! Kicking butt and going into the future like a total badass.”

Taehyung, Minor Deity of Clocks
The hand of the clock reassuringly sweeps around it’s face in a continuous fashion. The subliminal message: there will be another tomorrow, another noon, another midnight, another summer, another spring.
Seeing it’s face reminds us of our mortality. That we are alive and that we should make the most of it. Seeing it’s face reminds us of our future, that we should think of it. That we will live on through others, for whom we pave the way.
Time is eternal and it is renewed. Even when we’re gone, the march towards tomorrow will continue. A march that will continue when we’ve reached the end of the track.
Kim Taehyung is our deity of clocks. Someone that keeps us balanced. Someone that knows that you are alive now, but you’ll also be alive in the future. He is a reminder that time is a limited resource that must be used and spent wisely, but when devoted to the right thing taking it slow will be an expense worth making. Tomorrow is something that we need to remember, but don’t forget it’s something you cannot catch.
Give yourself the gift of time. Next time when you’re feeling overwhelmed for a while, wake up an hour earlier than you’re used to and spent that hour on yourself.
