Crying and screaming and throwing up.
One day she might accept it but today is not that day and tomorrow isn’t looking great either.

A long, peaceful hum was all Gemina offered at first as she simply watched Madelyne from beneath her lashes. She’d been more than bewitched upon their first encounter, but each little visit only cursed her more. It was a dangerous thing to grow so fondly of someone so obviously dangerous, but what was Gemina if not a woman who happily and joyfully toyed with destruction itself? Would it not be ironic if the very thing happened to her, the very fate that Madelyne now spoke of so gleefully? Common sense, Gemina decided, was unnecessary when one was staring at the sharp features and fire red hair of the company she’d chosen to keep.
“Unfortunately not,” she finally said after a short inhale, “if I want to drive someone mad I have to make sure everything they’re experiencing is real.” That’s what she specialized in, after all. Destroying lives.
@deitysmuses | A golden bird, a silver ram.
Curled words crawled across the sturdy paper, politely inviting who so ever received the invitation to attend a fall masquerade. Instructions on how to find the manor where it were held were scrawled across the back, a small map drawn to help those who would attempt to navigate their way once the time came. The only requirement for ones attendance was to bring the letter along with them and a costume to wear, facemasks were highly encouraged. At the bottom was nothing more than a simple signature; The Madame.
The actual party itself was held in a manor hidden away in the thick of the woods, overshadowed by towering mountains that seemed to eclipse everything around them. Cars were lined along the trees, attendants all in matching suits and plain white masks resembling ghouls waiting to help guests into the party. Dim lights shimmered from every window, live music and chatter echoed through the elegant and dated walls. It was a portal into a separate time, perhaps a separate world entirely. One rife with ancient power, mystique, and beauty.
The hostess herself happily glided through the party, draped in silver with curling horns atop her face and a delicate silver mask over her eyes. She greeted everyone as they found her, grinning with striking black lips that contrasted against the naturally ashen white of her skin. It was one of the few times a year that Gemina had to worry little regarding her appearance, happy to waltz about in her natural form under the guise of a Halloween costume.
Glints of gold caught her attention and she couldn’t help but follow after it like a crow pecking after something shining. As she approached she admired the beautiful feathering that detailed both he dress and the other woman’s mask. “My-..” The vampire breathed as she came up and offered out a glass of wine she’d plucked from a server along the way. “You are absolutely breathtaking, aren’t you?” She complimented without shame.
@deitysmuses - plotted starter for wanda.
He arrived very late last night although he was more than exhausted not to notice that everything was the same it was when he left many years ago. The hallways were the same, the rooms and the sculptures. New students though, new recruits probably but first of all new blood.
Young people trying to find a place in life like Kurt did back then. He remembered the day he arrived to this place and how scared he was by leaving his parents behind…
Things have changed a lot and he was glad they did. He was eager to see his friends and ex-teammates but first he decided to stop by the kitchen to get something for breakfast. The place was empty, or at least it looked like it could be, not that it mattered but he was still wearing his pajamas like usually did -even if scolded- when he was a silly teen.
The kitchen was exactly the same too, no surprise. The entire mansion was impeccable anyway, he went to start the coffee machine and to find what else to make for eating, probably a sandwich or eggs, just something to stop him from being hungry so he could start his day.
