Romeo and Deja in my new style from a few days ago :)

Finally settled on a design I rlly like for Deja after months of switching up their hair and outfit:))

Notes: written 12.8.20, a very short story about my ocs, its about the imagery and mood more than any sort of actual plot

“And y’know what? It’s okay that you’re not happy with a lot of things.”  

The four figures in the growing dusk sat amongst the dirt and grass, two of them with backs pressing against the chain link fence separating the field from the empty road, streetlights placed every couple dozen feet, the other two sprawled across the ground, the translucent, shadowy darkness erasing the lines between their bodies and the earth.  

From her place in the grass, Kira Mae continued, “I don’t think it’s fair to you that anyone expect you to be happy all the time about every little thing, especially about yourself.”

Romeo, one of the two against the fence, let out a trembling breath, wiping an already-wet sleeve at the tears still silently rolling down his cheeks. He said nothing, the four of them watching their breath curl in the cold air.
