Deja woke us up by jumping from the couch onto the air mattress, crawling over my body and settling between me and Shaud. Just... giggling there while we tickled and cuddled her. It was really cute. 😍😍😍
All my sister and my mom like to do is fucking yell at my babies. I don't give a shit of they're your daughter / granddaughter, you don't just fucking scream at them just because you're upset/frustrated and they're convenient emotional punching bags.
All ya gotta do is take five seconds to calm your ass down and see what they need and figure out how to proceed from there.
Ariana wants to spend time with her mom and have fun, but does my sister give a shit? No, she won't even listen long enough in between screaming about why she didn't do xyz and also "I don't even know why you care so much" SHE JUST FUCKING TOLD YOU, GENIUS.
But then you sneak out without Deja after leading her to believe that you were leaving with her!!! And when she's understandably upset about being left behind without being told, my mom just?? Yells at her because she wants to see them go with her own eyes WHICH IS A THING THAT SHE HAS ALWAYS DONE!!!! You don't just bodily drag her away from the door while she's screaming because you want to go back on the phone, you heinous bitch!!!
She calmed down when my just took some codeine ass held her hand and walked her outside for a minute so she could see that the car wasn't there with her own eyes. She didn't want to go to the room by herself (understandable) and didn't want to get dragged there by my mom who only gives a shit about her if she can parade her as a lovable doll (the only time my mom is interested in children tbh).
So she was ‼️‼️ gonna lay down with my sick and delirious ass because I'll listen to her when she cries and answer all of her endless questions and my baby is so fucking lucky that my husband is amazing and came back to the house and chose to take her to the mall to play because she slept all day and wants to DO SOMETHING because she is a tiny human who has needs that aren't impossible to meet. 😡😡😡
My niece discovered that by twisting a mirror around she can look at things that aren't in her direct line of sight, so she's been using it to look at me and giggling in delight.
It's absolutely as precious as it sounds.
