Deja-ryu week, Day 2: Training

basically, Tracer visits Genji while he’s recovering and speaks to him, telling him stories and other fluffy stuff. he’s not so fluffy when he’s fully able to control himself though.

Let’s forget the last drawing I did. And some of these. I fell in love with the idea of them being partners in an AU like widowmaker and Reaper. I finally drew Tracers suit, kind of inspired by Jill Valentines. Genji new look is inspired by both raiden and tali'zorah. He’s not a big fan of the visor. He feels less human with on and prefers to wear glasses instead. Tracer is also not a big fan of her suit, makes her feel like a Barbie doll. She’d rather wear jeans and a leather jacket instead, but Talon won’t let her. Maybe I’ll draw her in that. Tell me if you want to see it, you guys telling me that you want to see motivates me.

Punks

After the anti-omnic soldier Zarya joins Overwatch’s ranks, Genji has a crisis of confidence about his humanity and place in Overwatch. Tracer decides the best solution is a bit of youthful rebellion.

Late deja-ryu contribution. Wanted to draw Genji and Tracer in the Talon verse AU. Genji: Wears a Bio suit that works as a environmental suit. Talon managed to find Genji first before Angela and put his body into stasis while engineering a suit that would repair his body but also act like a prison and allow Talon to have a tight leash to control him(Like palpatine did to vader). They were unable to save his eyes, making him have poor vision. Talon put a visor over his eyes to remedy that. He wears his scars openly as a daily reminder of his brothers crime against him and to act as a promise for himself to make hanzo pay for his sins against him. Tracer:She was taken from Overwatch after she was given her chrono-accelerater to keep her from slipping in the time stream. Her chrono was removed and subjected to reliving the incident to break her mentally and emotionally. Talon managed to redesign the chrono to be smaller to be worn as a armband or a wrist band. After her torture, she was brainwashed to believe that overwatch set her up for failure and for the jet to kill her. Weapons: Genji still uses sword and ninja stars, but the sword was redesigned with a rare metal that vibrates that allows the user to slice through molecules. Tracer utilizes heavy magnum pistols, named Earhart and Elizabeth.(Might change later pending). They explode when shot into the bodies, they release shrapnel that target both the heart and brain, causing an agonizing death. Appearance: Instead of having her hair wild and piercings, tracer keeps a neat and well groomed look befitting one with military training. Her suit is fitted to her figure with light armor to protect her from mild injuries. It also assists her with her speed given to her from the chrono. Rather than the bright yellow, her suit is dark gold with black. Genji bio suit is a sleek black with Red lighting. As mentioned above, the suit keeps his body in constant repair and alive. His visor allows him to see in bright light, darkness, heat signatures, and x rays. His suit allows him to jump greater distances and to run quickly in short bursts.
