💀 - A song relating to death/mourning
Faintly, I’ll goTo take this head on
She lifted a hand up and adjusted her goggles before tugging them up to her forehead. The last of explosives were triggered too early, but she had used the cloud of dust to her advantage. And some to her disadvantage. A sharp pain pierced her stomach, a hole in her armor seeped blood slowly. There was another near her thigh and one in her shoulder. Each step was painful, throbs pulsating in silent screams, begging her to cease and accept this fate.
Soon I'll come aroundLost and never found
She collapsed to one knee, gritting her bloodstained teeth before she reached into a side satchel and retrieved a syringe of a faintly glowing concoction her alchemists made deep in their underground laboratories. The needle jabbed her lower stomach before she pushed the plunger, accepting another chance to live again. For however long that would be. As the dust started to settle, the war continued to wage on with marching feet drumming around her.
Waiting for my wordsSeen but never heard
Not but a few yalms away, she spotted the faded platinum blond and white hair from underneath a black hat. Staggering with careful steps in spite of the adrenaline that started to course through her veins, she knelt down besides her father. There was a faint pulse. His curse would see him live another day. In silence, she offered an apology.
Buried undergroundBut I'll keep coming
The war machine was pressing closer, the gleam of their weapons and armor moving in. She reached for the gunblade at her back, filling the cylinders with new charges. Behind her, she could faintly hear a cough and what was a weakened cry to stop. Her golden eyes glanced back to see Junius sitting up, a hand reaching out to her. His pleas fell upon deaf ears. She only gave him a small smile in return.
But I’ll keep comingYea, I’ll keep coming
