Name: Levaua Delama “Levaua” after the famous voodoo queen from New Orleans: Marie Laveau. “Delama” From the voodoo priestess “Tia Dalma” from Pirates of the Caribbean: At Worlds End
Be still my witchy witchy heart. I’m also a fan bc her last name sounds kind of like dilemma.

That’s okay! I think I’d argue she’s Prospit, actually, because there’s a kind of bleak optimism and unwillingness to change the world in her behavior toward her matesprits.
Title: Mage of Blood
I think I could make a convincing argument for Knight of Blood? She’s unlucky in love and is currently swamped in her existing relationships by her own actions. Furthermore, her inverse as a Thief of Breath means that she’s basically taking away freedoms to maintain such bonds, even exploiting bonds that no longer even exist (such as with her kismesis) to limit her freedom.
Which means she’s Capricer, the Defender!
Strife Specubi: Id actually give her the little troll doll and a needle to stab her victims using sort of a voodoo like thing to cause their suffering.
Lusus: no clue really
So we need something amphibious and associated with this theme of resurrection? How about a mix between a frog and a platypus? Firstly Princess and the Frog has introduced a somewhat tenuous connection between frogs and voodoo, and second off the gastric brooding frog, also known as the platypus frog, has recently been the subject of “The Lazarus Project” in an attempt to resurrect the species, with attempts going somewhat well!
Troll Tag: dont have ome thought out
How about affectionUndying for the way her relationships have affected her life? Also abbreviates to [AU], which is great because she does indeed seem to be living in an alternate universe that she’s conceived.
Land: no clue
How about Land of Strings and Scissors? The whole planet overrun with red thread, and she has to figure out which strings to cut to trigger specific doors that let her progress to her denizen.
Backstory: she loved her moiral and matesprit dearly, she went everywhere with either one of them. They never left her side. While she did have her quadrants filled and was committed to all of them. Her Kimesis, a cerulean blood, out of sheer hate and malice took control over Levaua’s body and made her kill both her matesprit and her moiral. Needless to say she didnt stay with her kimeses long after that. She sewed up little dolls of both her moiral and matesprit and acted as if they were her partners. As if they never truley died. However this didnt stop her when she saw the bodies of her dead matesprit and moiral covered in blood and guys out of the corner of her eyes everyday. So to stop these visions, she sewed her eyes shut. This only made them worse, however as now she could only see these visions. But after a while she told herself she deserved it. And they eventually ceased to appear. She still acted as if the dolls were her moiral and matesprit, talking to them, thinking that they are talking back and playing and laughing a joking. Everywhere she goes, she always carries one of the dolls.
Personality: she is paranoid usually, afraid that her ex kimises would come and “kill” her moiral and matesprit again. Other than that she is extremely happy when she is with her dolls. She she doesnt blindly follow anybody anymore, she has become more skeptical when people show interest of filling a quadrant with her. She will become angry when people attempt to become a matesprit or moiral, or when they bring up the fact that they are dead, she is still in hard denial of it, they say seeing is believing, in this case because she can no longer see the corpses, she doesnt believe that they ever existed in that state.
Interests: The feelings of her dolls as well as the well beings of them, the feelings of her auspitice (if a troll is currently filling in that quadrant), how she looks (she has another troll do her facepaint. They always paint tears on her, sort of like to sybolize the pain, and she only really wears one outfit everyday so she need not change) she also likes to sew dolls and preform rituals with them, she killed her ex kimesis by sewing a doll of them before preforming a ritual and stabbing the doll, killing the kimises before she sewed her eyes shut and repressed those memories of everything, denying it ever happened.
Love her, adore her, want to protect her. This redesign is whimsical but tbh most of it is just suggestions rather than anything that *needs* to change about the character. I did a before and after of her sewing her eyes shut.
Horns - I love purpleblood horns because of how whimsical they are, and once I sprited them I really enjoyed the mental image of her dolls perching on them. The one on the top horn is derived from the bunny plush and the one on the bottom is derived from Hella Jeff, of all things.
Hair - I really took a book out of New Orleans’ fashion for this. The template is by bagelart!
Collar - I couldn’t find a way to sprite the collar design without making it look busy, so I kept the shape and added some cute collar fasteners in the shape of her symbol!
Outfit - once again, I wanted to nod back to New Orleans with a French-style outfit, and bagelart had a really nice French Victorian outfit for me to use. Also added in another pattern to up the clash. Furthermore, tried to sprite a nice, wide tie to accommodate the symbol.
And that’s it for Levaua! She’s a treasure.
