WOULD YOU CRITICIZE CORINTHIANS 6: 9 as a homosexual?
Of course you would, in a self-defense mode to protect your own immunity, thinking you are free. But free to what? To practice adultery, deceit?
“Truly, truly, I say to you, everyone who practices sin is a slave to sin" John 8: 34
For you deceive yourself, in many ways, to think this is how love is found.
Love toward yourself, love toward your neighbor, love toward God.
And thus, your idea of homosexuality is unnatural and against not only Paul's interpretation of man's separation form God that is invoked in Corinthians 6: 9, but most importantly, it does not agree with what Jesus Christ has said.
And as it is Jesus Christ who is the only INSTRUCTOR TO FOLLOW, and not the sinner or any other rabbi, especially that such interpretation does not pass the test of what is right, let me remind you this quote of Jesus Christ that proves homosexuality is far from natural:
"Have you not read that he who created them from the beginning made them male and female, and said ‘Therefore a man shall leave his father and his mother and hold fast to his wife, and the two shall become one flesh’? So they are no longer two but one flesh. What therefore God has joined together, let not man separate"
Meaning that if opposite halves are not brought together, they never ARE ONE.
And what is more, in most cases, homosexuality is not about true relationship, but about adultery.
And adultery is a sin, just like
"evil thoughts, sexual immorality, theft, murder, adultery, coveting, wickedness, deceit, sensuality, envy, slander, pride, foolishness." Mark 7: 21
But just like the woman who was selling her body was not condemned by Jesus Christ, but told to NOT sin any more (especially that she might have become the slave to her sin by external forces like economic circumstances, for example, or cultural expectations), so are the homosexual PEOPLE invited to be healed from their sins, that often are not inborn but rather extrinsic qualities (like all other sins mentioned above due to pop culture/man tradition-criticized by the Son of God on many occasions in the Gospels) JUST LIKE ADULTERY, JUST LIKE MURDER, JUST LIKE DECEIT are.
For if a homosexual/trans person wishes to advance a straight person by deceit, such a person not only cheats himself/herself into hoping a straight person might ever be into them, but also deceives the straight person only for a personal gain, and they do that irrelevant of the fact that the other person might be already married, or already in a relationship. WHICH AGAIN IS ADULTERY-causing a married person to cheat.
So YES homosexuality is a sin. And such men are no different than any other people nor any better, especially that just like most other people they can be vicious too, and though discriminated they discriminate, too. EVEN MORE sometimes.
And to be healed from their sin, just like from any other sins, just listen to this advice, again by Jesus Christ:
“You have heard that it was said, ‘You shall not commit adultery.’ But I say to you that everyone who looks at a woman with lustful intent has already committed adultery with her in his heart. If your right eye causes you to sin, tear it out and throw it away. For it is better that you lose one of your members than that your whole body be thrown into hell. And if your right hand lcauses you to sin, cut it off and throw it away. For it is better that you lose one of your members than that your whole body go into hell." Matthew 5: 27
And I've heard of many homosexuals who were able to forsake their extrinsic qualities with the help of THE BREAD OF LIFE that JESUS CHRIST IS.
FOR without HIM, we are just slaves to a sin!
"Just so, I tell you, there is joy before the angels of God over one sinner who repents.” Luke 15: 10
