i mean she's pro military and very into institutionalized structure that follows a chain of command -- which is the entire reason for violence, speciesism, and war that keeps the mentality of earth as a regressive force..... but she's struggled with drugs!!! so sympathy!!!! i just don't buy it ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Yeah this is a good point and I don’t like that about her either, but I don’t think other people dislike her for this reason??
Before I watched s5 the complaints I heard about Lochley were all stuff like “she gets too much focus”/”jms tries too hard to get us to like her”/”everyone always agrees w/ her” and I didn’t see that really? It felt like she was barely in it and anything she did that was kind of annoying was overshadowed by the telepath arc imo
There were some parts in the early eps where other characters were unfairly pro-Lochley in the conflict between her and Garibaldi but as far as I remember that went away in the second half? I could be remembering wrong though
Basically I just meant that Lochley isn’t like my fav character in any way but I don’t think she was the worst character (which is what I was lead to believe she was) and I don’t have anything against Tracy Scoggins herself
