Excerpt from Planet Earth and the Terrible, Horrible, Not Good, Very Bad Week —Original
House and Wilson do petplay but it;s like pretending that Wilson finds House in a wet cardboard box in an alley and has to nurse him back to health and, like, de-worm him also and House keeps chewing on his hands and arms
favorite word?
Big fan of the word 'apparently'. I love overusing that word, it's so funny sometimes. 'Phantasmagoria' is an awesome word although I barely have a chance to actually use it. 'Will-o-wisp' is also a very pretty word.
I've been saying stuff like 'huzzah' and 'I'd wager' pretty often these days too. Very good words. I also like to say 'investigate' and 'examine' quite a lot too. 'Meander' is also a very funny word, as well as 'crumb' and 'ambiguous'.
'Crap' is just a classic really. Cartoon Network curse words in general definitely are. I also like the word 'dude', it's so fun. Silly word. And 'pizza', especially when combined into 'pizza pocket' for some reason.
imagining the characters that are in shipping pairings i'm fond of as anything self indulgent is quite fun and enjoyable. it doesn't have to match the actual story when it's just for fun, in the end, one should be able to enjoy a character, their surroundings and the media they are from in both for entertainment and analysis.
besides the already mentioned reasoning, i also believe that crackships can be a good tool for character studies in a setting they wouldn't be otherwise.
