No matter how much it strains on her nerves, Mukuro decides to wait until late morning to find her sister; a time when most would normally depart in search of breakfast. Taking a deep breath, she settles on one of the nearby benches, her mind restless as she recalls Junko’s departure.
It had happened so suddenly and without warning.
Just the other day, Mukuro had found a simple note on her sister’s door, stating that she went to a place called Koi. The unfamiliarity of the name struck a chord with the soldier. She had been to many places and learnt about foreign lands. The fact that this is an unknown area to meant that she could not gauge the level of risk to Junko’s target destination. So she searched and finally arrived in this obscure territory.
Mukuro gets up as the light shines brightly than before and takes off, mindful to dodge any locals wandering the streets. Her eyes flies to every direction, moving from target to target until they land onto twin bright pink, bouncing in the light. With her target acquired, the soldier dashes forward, overtaking her sister before stopping in front of her.
“Junko!”
Relief floods through the older sister as she stands there, though as the seconds pass; she did not know what to say or do. Should she tell her how worried she was or that her mind was plagued by ill thoughts before she had found her? But then, Junko never did instruct her to follow. Would she be mad or disappointed that she didn't remain at her station?
“....I’ve found you.”
She can’t tell which is worse.
