The Caprese Burger is a tasty take on the traditional caprese salad. It has a grilled burger patty that is juicy and topped with fresh mozzarella, cherry tomatoes, basil, and balsamic glaze. This burger is full of great flavors and a great treat for summer!
Ingredients: 1 lb ground beef. 4 hamburger buns. 4 slices fresh mozzarella cheese. 1 cup cherry tomatoes, sliced. 1/2 cup fresh basil leaves. 4 tbsp balsamic glaze. Salt and pepper to taste.
Instructions: Warm the grill up to a medium-high level. Shape the ground beef into 4 burger patties that are all the same size. Add pepper and salt. The burger patties should be cooked for four to five minutes on each side, or until they're done the way you like them. In the last minute of cooking, cover the grill and put a slice of mozzarella cheese on top of each patty. This will melt the cheese. Split the hamburger buns in half and toast them a little on the grill. Put a burger patty with melted mozzarella on the bottom half of each bun to make the burgers. Sliced cherry tomatoes and fresh basil leaves should be put on top of each patty. Cover the toppings with balsamic glaze. To finish the burger, put the top half of the bun on top of the toppings. Right away, serve the Caprese Burgers.
