Kévin Réaux:  Beautiful Typography

Kévin Réaux,, aka Delirium Lab, aka Krikrak has produced some gorgeous new work for the 36 days of type project that inspires so many artists each year.

I featured Kévin Réaux in Cross Connect  and he warmed my heart when he said  "I work on the art of the perfect loop, the moment when the loop is invisible.” 

The best place to view his work is Instagram because Instagram is much better at video that Tumblr and his rich 3D color work with a lot of transparency is best seen in video.

The above are gif versions of his work from Instagram.  You can post video on Tumblr and Kevin does, but you can only post one at a time and I feel that one of the great things about Tumblr is the ability to post a series of images at once and motion with gifs (under 3mb).

Instagram has a version of this where you have to swipe to see the other images, but I think it waters down the effect of your post.  To me, if you cannot see it, it does not feel like part of the post.

Delirium Lab:  Organic Animated Creations

Kévin Réaux is a French Art Director and Designer based in Nantes.  He creates fascinating particle based organic shapes that almost seem lifelike.  When asked about his process he says "I work on the art of the perfect loop, the moment when the loop is invisible.”  I would say he has achieved that goal here.  Kevin is working on a new website to best display his artwork so for now the best place to look at his other work is on Instagram
