⚓Portrait Oil

For centuries, Races who were not Tall-men (conventional humans) were not often represented in paintings or art due to the lack of accessible pigments and colours. Depictions of Gillborns, Lupinites, and Harpies were often adjusted with the help of Portrait Oil

Portrait Oil is a Blending Tonic, used primarily in aristocratic (or very High class) and artistic circles to temporarily transform the drinker into the dominant nearby race, most often for painting or historical documentation purposes.

How It Works:

Unlike typical oils or tonics applied topically, Portrait Oil must be ingested. It takes a few minutes to activate.

The oil reads the environment and transforms the user to physically resemble the majority race in the room or immediate vicinity.

Example: In a room full of Tall-Men, a Gillborn user will turn into a Tall-Man.

If no dominant race is present, the oil may cause a partial transformation or fail entirely.
