Delpad Weekend Day 4: Parenting

I had too many ideas for this prompt so I tried to do all of them, but I had to stop after my hands started to hurt. 

Launchpad is technically a parent to Gosalyn so I wanted to include her in this somehow. He’s so proud of her and will take any opportunity to brag about her accomplishments. And of course he’d be a parent to Della’s kids, too. (I wanted to include Webby in the cuddle pile but I ran out of room.)

Delpad Week Day 1

Delpad 1 : Gaming.

 Della walked her character through the town. it had been a while since she played this game and she was a little too rusty. so she had devised a scheme to help boost her levels. 

“ Ms. Duck! “  Launchpad’s character shouted in the main chat. Della laughed as she placed her headset on and opened the voice chat. “ Launchpad! Use the whisper function! “ she said between laughter. Launchpad spammed emotes of thumbs up and various others. “ Yes, M’am. “ his voice rang from the other side of the headset. 

Della glanced at the screen and noticed a suspicious emote pop up above Launchpad’s character. “ Launchpad! “ she called. 

“ M-m’am ? “ 

“ Did you just send me a kissy face emote? “ 

a clatter was heard from the other end and Launchpad’s character moved back a bit. the prayer hands emote popped up. Della giggled and said “ Too bad this isn’t in real life , Huh?” into the mic. 

there was another series of clatter but this time it was in person. Della turned to see Launchpad rush over to the couch and skid to a stop. “ Aw. You want a kiss now or after you help me level up? “ she asked, leaning back and smirking at him. 

“ A-after! Yes! We’ll do it in celebration of your new job in game! “ Launchpad said, leaping onto the couch and putting his consul down on the table next to hers.  

Della laughed behind her hand and bumped her shoulder into his. “ Thanks for helping me today , Launchpad. I mean it. “ she smiled up at him in appreciation and stifled a laugh when Launchpad flushed bright red. 

“ N-no problem , Ms Duck! “ 

“ Launchpad “ Della breathed out a sigh. “ I told you that you can call me by my name. “  “ Wow, Really, Ms Dumbella! ? “ Launchpad gasped. he blinked in confusion at her glare in his direction. “ Ugh. Never mind... Ms. Duck is fine. “ she mumbled, looking discouraged. 

maybe she was looking too much into things. but her heart could not help but leap up into her throat around him. he had a strange effect on her normally confident self. 

“ Sorry, Ms. Duck. I guess you don’t like that name? “  “ No. I don’t. “ 

Launchpad winced and fumbled with his controller. “ Gosh! I’m really sorry! I thought that was the name you meant! “ he muttered sheepishly.  Della let out a sigh and closed her eyes. he sounded sorry enough and she should just try to forgive him. 

“ It’s fine, Launchpad. Let’s just get going to the caves for training. “  “ Right! Leader. “  Della’s mood perked up. a wide grin formed on her face. “ Wait. I like that! Call me Leader Duck. “  “ Yes, Ma’am. Ms Leader Duck! “ 

Della let out a chuckle and shook her head. “ That’s...good enough. “

Delpad Weekend Day 3: Woodchucks

Hello duck fans! This is your friendly @delpad-captain speaking. While we wait to hear how much longer the Season 3 hiatus will last, I present to you the first Delpad Weekend ever! The event starts on Thursday July 23 and ends on Sunday July 26. Until then you will have time to fill the prompts with any kind of fan works you like.

Rules

Your submissions must be about Delpad. If you’d like to include another ship that’s allowed, but Delpad must be the main focus.

Your submission must be Safe For Work. No sexual content or violence.

You can make anything! Fan art, fanfic, gifs, videos, music, cosplay, anything goes.

You can fill as many or as few prompts as you like. It’s okay if you miss the deadline, too. This supposed to be fun.

When your submission is finished you must tag it with “#delpad weekend”. This way I can find it and reblog it here.
