My contribution for @delpad-weekend​ that took the entire weekend and earlier today to finish. 😵

I planned on starting a head of time with thumbnails and notes but I was also working on something else that ened up absorbed most of my time. 😓

For the “Gaming” prompt, my mind immediately went to something based on the Legends of LegendQuest portion of the episode “Happy Birthday, Doofus Drake!”. When it aired, I was surprised to see some Della-Launchpad bonding before “Coot” debuted. It was nice to see a more positive interaction after the misunderstanding about getting replaced in “Nothing Can”. 😅 I do hope they can talk that over. I’d love to see more moments like this…

Whew! Cutting it close for the deadline aren’t I! I would have had this done this morning but right before I finished it my computer suddenly shut down and I lost 6 hours of progress lol. But anyway, we all know LP would totally be all over any baby he comes into contact with, especially his own lol

Delpad Weekend Day 4: Parenting

I had too many ideas for this prompt so I tried to do all of them, but I had to stop after my hands started to hurt. 

Launchpad is technically a parent to Gosalyn so I wanted to include her in this somehow. He’s so proud of her and will take any opportunity to brag about her accomplishments. And of course he’d be a parent to Della’s kids, too. (I wanted to include Webby in the cuddle pile but I ran out of room.)

Delpad Weekend #3 : Woodchucks

Della stood in her Junior Woodchuck Senior garb as she watched her son Je-Huey train for the Senior Woodchuck challenge. The Troop leader , Launchpad , was also watching. she was told that it was supposedly because the Woodchucks did not want her to help him too finish tasks too much. it was anxiety-inducing but not for the reason, one might think. she was anxious because of her developing feelings towards him. she had not gotten to the point where she had acted on these feelings and now was not a great time. it was probably not the best to flirt with a man when he son was around. Launchpad did not seem to feel the dramatic tension of their current situation. his handsome face held the same slightly oblivious smile that he always wore. he did not seem bothered by her even though they were standing near each other. she worried that this might be one-sided, if not for the kiss-emote mess up. surely, he felt something for her but did not want to ruin their growing friendship. when Huey was far enough away to not-likely overhear, she cleared her throat and looked over at him. “ Brings you back huh, Launchpad? ” she asked, smiling up at him. “ Eh… What? Oh! Yeah, it does, Ms. Della Leader Duck. ” he said with a wider grin. “ But he hasn’t fallen into a spiky pit of doom yet… so it’s kinda different. ” he added in a nonchalant way.
