This prompt grabbed me screaming DELPHEI WOULD DO THAT so here is the purple boi XD. Delphei likes candles for the romantic aesthetic, and uses them from time to time for atmosphere when he's reading or writing. Here he's writing Lucy a sweet letter, hence the blushies 😊. I got a bit of a tutorial from my friend on how to do colors with dark rooms and candlelight and I'm so proud of how it turned out!

Starting off OCtober with a bit of a screenshot redraw? Delphei is extremely kind and gentle, more a lover than a fighter if you will... and I thought that, like Otto, he would have a hard time putting up a fight against Mandarin's brainwashing in the Skeleton King episode. It's also hurts Antauri to see his twin go through this, add even more angst to that poor monkey than he's already going through in that ep, yeesh.

(This episode is messed up, honestly the monkeys being tortured like this hurts me harder than I Chiro in some ways. Also drawing the brain bugs was really hard but also kinda interesting I guess lmao)

if you had to pick one of your OCs to have dinner with, which one would you pick? why? (bonus: what would you have?)

HMMMMM this is a really hard question! I think maybe either Amber or Delphei! (I love Natsu and Lucy but Lucy would talk my ear off the entire time and I don't really have a lot in common with Natsu so I wouldn't have as good a time I think?)

If we're talking Amber cooking, she would probably make some kind of Japanese dish like takoyaki or udon? Honestly she would probably be nice enough to make anything I wanted, as long as it's something she knows how to make. We'd probably talk about cooking or baking or about our favorite TV shows and stuff like that. I KNOW Amber has very strong opinions about her favorite Sailor Princesses!

For Delphei, Delphei doesn't know how to cook as well as Natsu or Sparx or Antauri, but he can bake a little bit! I'd probably end up cooking and it would probably be something simple like a pasta or rice dish. I think we would have a good time talking about music or about the books he's reading and stuff.

I dunno! I don't really think a lot about this kind of thing? I tend to really keep my OCs inside the universe they're from and I don't really think about me myself interacting with them?? It was still a really good question, though, thanks for making me think!

No, Delphei wouldn't lie to get out of trouble. He tries to be as honest as possible with his teammates but also actually knows how tact works. lol.

He doesn't really approve of lying, especially for reasons that he thinks don't make any sense. If someone lied to him in order to keep his feelings from getting hurt, he'd be annoyed at them.

Delphei always really really liked doing puzzles when he was younger! This is something that was shown in the flashbacks at the end of Double Vision but it is still something that happened in the Monkey Twin AU also!

I think this is the first time I’ve drawn Delphei in his non-robot-monkey form and he turned out very cute! He’s just a good purple boi and I love him so much 💜
