My 2nd Interpretation of

of “Sleepwalking” by Delphi Freeman

There’s a girl. Her boyfriend is supposed to be in Oregon. The girl goes to, and is at this party Her boyfriend walks in and through the house without even noticing that his girlfriend is there (“Sleepwalking”). The girl gets very upset thinking of how he lied to her about Oregon and thinks he’s going to wish he really went to Oregon when he finds out she knows he lied. She feels that their relationship is falling apart (“rain falling down on me and you”). Still not knowing his girlfriend is there, he goes into the back yard and starts flirting and dancing with other girls. He even proceeds to give up his seat for one of the girls. She knows he always seems to be looking for someone new and that she should just leave him. She is so in love with him that instead of leaving she is going to obsessively keep an eye on him to try and keep him in check. This is going to make life for him and her crazy until he opens his eyes and realizes they are meant to be together and the rain falls down on both of them together.
